Prabakaran ARUN, is an Architect and City planner graduated from IIT Kharagpur. He currently serves as an Assistant Director in the Directorate of Town and Country Planning - a pivotal government body responsible for overseeing and regulating development throughout Tamil Nadu.

He plays a crucial role in advancing environmental sustainability and climate resilience within urban areas. Notable contributions include innovative approach in shaping the Pudukkottai and Karaikudi Master Plan by devising a meticulous strategy to define and manage population densities within specific zones, laying the groundwork for applying environment lens in all development.
